Terms of Use

These terms explain how Drowse may be used, how Drowse Pro subscriptions work, and the limits of sleep insights provided by the app.

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Using Drowse

By downloading or using Drowse, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple licensed-application terms. Drowse is an iOS sleep companion for personal sleep tracking, alarms, wind-down reminders, SleepScore insights, and on-device snore pattern analysis. You are responsible for using the app safely and for keeping your device charged and placed appropriately overnight.

Not medical advice

Drowse is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. SleepScore and snore insights are informational only. If you have concerns about sleep, breathing, snoring, fatigue, or health, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

If snoring or breathing patterns worry you, talk to a doctor — Drowse can describe your nights, but it cannot diagnose them.

Drowse Pro subscriptions

Drowse Pro may be offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription through Apple. The localized price and billing period shown by Apple at confirmation apply. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically under Apple's terms. Billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment handling are managed by Apple through your Apple account settings.

Introductory offers

Apple may present an introductory free-trial offer for an eligible monthly or annual Drowse Pro subscription. Apple determines eligibility and displays the offer terms before confirmation. When the offer ends, the subscription renews at the displayed price unless canceled in your Apple account settings.

Account and availability

Drowse uses Sign in with Apple for account access. You are responsible for access to your Apple account and device. Deleting a Drowse account removes Drowse's local account data and its private CloudKit preference record, but does not delete Apple Health data or cancel an App Store subscription. A subscription must be canceled separately through Apple.

Availability and alarms

Features may vary by device, Apple Health availability, iOS version, region, permissions, and App Store availability. Microphone interruptions, force-quitting, operating-system limits, low power, network failures, or device settings can interrupt tracking or notifications. Drowse does not guarantee uninterrupted recording, alarm delivery, or error-free results, so do not rely on it as your only alarm or for safety-critical monitoring.

License and ownership

Drowse grants you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and Apple's applicable standard end-user license agreement. Drowse's name, branding, interface, and original content remain the property of their respective owner. Third-party software is provided under its own license terms listed in the app or on the Open-source notices page.
